Self-Exploration and Personal Growth: Embark on a journey of self-discovery, identify personal values, and set goals for personal development.
Psychedelic Integration: The use of psychedelics for mental health has gained attention in recent years with promising results for their potential therapeutic benefits. It's important to note that individuals considering psychedelics for mental health should do so under the guidance of trained professionals in controlled settings to minimize potential risks and maximize potential benefits. Cypress is proudly "psychedelic-friendly." We are a safe environment where, without judgment, you can find meaning in entheogenic experiences.
Benefits of Therapy:
When you begin therapy, you can expect a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment where your well-being is the top priority. In your first sessions, you'll have the opportunity to share your concerns and goals. Your therapist will listen attentively, ask questions, and work with you to develop a personalized plan to address your needs. Therapy sessions are collaborative, meaning you and your therapist will explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors together, uncovering patterns and identifying areas for growth.
Over time, therapy can help you gain new perspectives, develop coping strategies, and build skills to manage life's challenges more effectively. Whether you're seeking support for specific issues or simply want to enhance your mental well-being, therapy offers a structured yet flexible space to promote healing, personal growth, and positive change.
Cypress clients experience change over their time in therapy, not just in the problem they were seeking support in, but typically in all other areas of their lives. Clients typically attend weekly sessions so they have consistent support and feel relief as soon as possible. Your clinician may suggest skills or writing prompts to do in between sessions so you have tools to help you progress. Therapy doesn’t have to feel scary and hard. It can feel like a relief, a breath of fresh air after you’ve been gasping for a long time.
Our Therapy Approaches
Our therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices. We work with you to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your concerns, set goals, and develop strategies for positive change.
Our therapists are trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities, allowing us to tailor our approach to your unique needs and preferences. Which treatment modality is used is dependent on the person, family, challenge or goal, clinician experience and expertise, and so on. There’s variety in the treatment methods used at Cypress because not every person or family will respond to the same technique. We tailor our clinical approach to best meet your needs.
What does remain the same, however, is that we’re only drawing from empirically supported treatments, otherwise known as evidenced-based. This means that all treatment approaches have been rigorously researched and demonstrated to be highly effective for the treatment goals or challenges that we’re targeting.
The evidence-based treatments we use include:
